Flating panels loose content

I am using IE6 on Windows XP and have tested floating panels on your demo site and in my own installation (multi-version means different paths like FCKeditor26/).

While floating panels work in the demo site, I am loosing content in panels like About and Link in my own installation when opening them for the second time. Table panel is stretched to about 800 pixels on second try, but has content.

I am also wondering why selection fields in a panel get a mouse drag effect when moving the panel over the page.

These effects are not experienced with the 2.5.1 version. The versions are implemented in the same repository with different paths.

The loosing contents bug as well as the dialog stretching bug is currently being investigated in #2114. Unfortunately this bug is very erratic in that it is easily reproducible in some configurations while completely non-reproducible in others, so it's going to take some time to fix.

I don't really know what you mean by "mouse drag effect" when the panel is being moved over the page. If you mean the temporary residual images of selection boxes while the dialog is being dragged (see screenshot "Picture 1.png"), then it's a known IE6 bug. It shouldn't happen in IE7, however.

That's it - you can set the mouse to show it's path, and your screenshot mimics that effect. Oh well, so it's a known "feature" with IE6.

I read #2114 and thought I could shed some more light on it, that's all.
