[IE] inline dialog fails to show properly

i cant insert images and any other pop up window is not working it is hidden by css. the popupwindows are not resizing to fit the contents of it. i prefer a normal popup window, or iframe without shaddow and so. but one that displays good. most of my visitors have IE7 and IE6. i cant relay on maybe they have firefox to view the website correctly.

i have tried to disable the css of the border but it didn't helped.

for now how to make normal popup windows?

what version to download so it will work with popups?

That's the same problem reported in http://www.fckeditor.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=10494 According to the poster, after resetting the IE settings everything worked fine, but we still don't know the detail that makes it fail.

By your screenshot, you are also using windows Vista, can you check if you have the same add-ons in IE? Can you try to reset just the security settings for example?

i think this bug will be fixed most easyly by the man that created the css shadowed iframe.

I asked you 2 months ago some questions in order to try to understand the problem, but you didn't reply.

I'm not sure about how do you expect us to fix a problem that we can't reproduce and that don't get back any info in order to guess what's wrong with your IE.

@shimon, what alfonsoml wanted to say is that we needed more information to properly understand the problem. If a ticket has no activity for such information requests for more than 30 days, it gets closed as "expired".

Please let us know if you have more information, as alfonsoml asked previously.

my internet explorer 7 version is 7.0.6001.18000.

IE7: with debugbar i see:

FF3: with firebug i see:

also in ie6 the iframe window is smaller then the content in 18px ( height of a scrollbar ) in width and in height. and no shaddow is visible (png bugfix needed)

may be the zero height bug is fixed by the change of:

not sure need to check on other computers.

that patch is for the next version CKEditor 3, where everything is being rewritten.

Have you tried to reset your IE settings as I asked 2 months ago?

Remember: if we can't reproduce the problem it's quite hard to fix it. Why are you getting the 0 height? that's the question, so please, try to provide us a way so we can reproduce the problem in our computers and the problem might get fixed.
