Important: we decided not to transfer all the tickets to GitHub, as many of them are not reproducible anymore or simply no longer requested by the community.

[Webkit] converts an empty span to font

Description

create new paragraph and select any font or font size (or the both)
type any char and hit backspace

Note that "font" is now displayed on elements path panel. Also if you used font name it will be changed to "Arial" independently on which font name you've used. If you type any char now and toggle to source mode you will see font tag instead of span.
